Ultra Music Festival expands its reign to the island of Bali
As Ultra Music Festival continues its quest for global dance domination, the international electronic festival brand has staked its claim on the Indonesian island of Bali. Coming this September, the Island of Gods will host Ultra Beach Bali at Potato Head Beach Club for a massive 2-day festival from September 24-25 as they anticipate nearly 10,000 attendees. Ultra CEO Russell Faibisch said they locked in a long-term contract in Bali and have plans to make the island “THE exotic party paradise of Asia and Australia.”
UMF’s territories so far include Miami, Argentina, Croatia, South Korea, Ibiza, Chile, and Brazil — not to mention Japan where Ultra takes place the weekend before Bali with headlining acts Armin van Buuren, David Guetta, Nicky Romero and Skrillex.
While artists have not yet been announced, tickets for Ultra Beach Bali — aka the soon-to-be Ibiza of the East — go on sale Monday, June 22.
