Adriatique, Undercatt join forces on new EP, ‘Horizon’
After the successful launch of X Recordings in December, Adriatique‘s own label imprint has been a categorical success thus far. “The Future Is Unknown” with Delhia De France was undoubtedly one of the hottest melodic IDs of 2023 and proved to be the ideal record to kick off the Swiss duo’s new record label. For the label’s first release in 2024, Adriatique has teamed up with Undercatt for their Horizon EP. A double-sided EP, Horizon captivates a dark and mysterious essence that seamlessly weaves deep basslines and euphoric melodies.
“Horizon”, the EP’s titular and leading track—takes listeners on a musical escape through intricately placed builds and a hypnotic vocal while its companion, “Vera” is a spell-binding record with deep house influences and blissful synths. As Adriatique has ventured and experimented within the evolving genre of melodic techno, Horizon exhibits elements of the early Adriatique sound that so many came to love. Horizon contines to build the hype around the Swiss duo’s discography, as the two prepare for an incredible US tour run with dates at Afterlife Miami, Ultra Music Festival, and Coachella.
