Voodoo Festival offers an impressive electronic-heavy line up for 2015
Though traditionally, Voodoo Festival left headlining positions exclusively to rock and hip-hop artists, the New Orleans show has always had an open door for electronic talents. This year, the festival delivers a line up with a heavy hand in electronic music, but with talent that has been thoughtfully chosen to match the rock-rooted festival’s feel. Blurring the lines between the already cozy punk and dance music spaces, Jack Ü finds themselves leading the pack alongside Ozzy Osbourne, Jane’s Addiction, Modest Mouse, among others. Additionally, massive electronic names like Alesso, Giorgio Moroder, Deadmau5, and Eric Prydz sit on valuable space at the top of the roster. Voodoo also nods to the more eclectic tastes of dance music with Tchami, Zhu, Jauz, and Mija, confirming that New Orleans is an ultimate destination for your Halloween plans this year.
