David Zowie has become a new name to know in the UK house scene after his first single “House Every Weekend” received support from Annie Mac and topped the UK charts in July. His ambitious second production remixes “Two Minds,” Nero’s latest single released off their sophomore album Between II Worlds. Zowie’s interpretation gives the future-touched original an even deeper house rework. The darkly wobbling bass line is this track’s main focus, though Alana Watson’s inimitable vocals and the instrumental melody get an interesting reinvention as well. House purists may not yet be convinced, but Zowie could prove to be an innovative new talent in the house genre.
