LAPD shut down a college house party with Thomas Jack and SNBRN
What’s a college party without the police to break it up? Thomas Jack and SNBRN wouldn’t know after throwing a rager last night in south Los Angeles at a home located in the University Park neighborhood just outside the University of Southern California’s main campus. The house DJs were scheduled for a pre-celebration ahead of Thomas Jack’s upcoming Tropical Express tour stop in LA next week, and as hundreds of college students poured into the two-story YONI home’s backyard, surrounding neighbors immediately reported the high noise levels prompting police to show up and issue a warning.
After the opening DJ, Matt DiMona, was forced to cut his set early around 10:30pm from the back patio balcony, the party’s host asked for all attendees to move into the property’s oversized garage in order to help isolate and lower volume levels. SNBRN then proceeded to take to the decks just after 11pm when, 15 minutes into his set, an official order from the police cancelled the party after yet another complaint. Guests were asked to vacate the property just moments before Thomas Jack’s midnight set.
However, fans will have a chance to catch Thomas Jack and friends on his Tropical Express tour which kicks off its US leg this weekend for a two-night affair at the Regency in San Francisco.
