Chicago producers Robby Hauldren and Freddy Kennett, known collectively as Louis The Child, are currently wrapping the four-month long US leg of their It’s Strange tour this month and they’re celebrating the achievement with a stellar remix package of their 2015 smash single of the same name. Unlike most compilations, the “It’s Strange” remixes delivers a whopping 20 reproductions of the record from rising and established artists such as Bee’s Knees, SoySauce, JackLNDN, Boombox Cartel, Tobiahs, The Knocks and over a dozen more. From the chill trip-rock influences brought by newcomer Wheathin to the White Cliffs’ steel drum-driven tropical rework, nearly every electronic sub-genre is masterfully displayed while maintaining the futuristic vibe of the original.
As an added bonus, all of the proceeds from the purchase of the package will be donated to a charity organization called Kiva. Learn more about it here.
