Israel’s TripL are the latest duo to join John Christian’s fresh faced Freeway Recordings imprint and its more uplifting hold on the market. Just five releases deep, the label calls upon the up-and-coming duo to show where the euphorically charged sound of progressive house can still hold its corner on the modern industry landscape. Accompanied by Arina Popova’s stellar vocals, ‘Brand New Day’ is neither coarse nor overly sugary, but lands as a well rounded original with enough muscle to keep the festival crowds at bay whilst also keeping enough of the sound’s traditional hallmarks to keep the attention of the genre purists.
