The promoter behind Time Warp Argentina to be arrested in connection with drug deaths
Not long after the death of five attendees and the hospitalization of four more at Time Warp Argentina, Federal Judge Sebastian Casanello has targeted Dell Producciones, the event promoter behind the Argentinian edition of the annual techno festival. Casanello, who is leading the investigation of the deaths, has ordered the arrest of a number of key staffers at Dell Producciones. DP attorney, Maximilliano Avila has already been detained, along with Carlos Maria Garat, the man in charge of the venue’s evacuation plan. Adrian Conci, head of the event production company, is also being held accountable for the negligent deaths of 5 attendees.
Along with Avila and Conci, there are 28 additional defendants who will be required to testify before Casanello. According to The Costa Rica Star, Conci has “been on the run” since he was first called into question on Monday and remains at large.
Not only will Dell Producciones temporarily be prohibited from hosting future events in Buenos Aires, but part of the decision made by the city’s mayor Horacio Rodriguez Larreta, bans permits for large scale events to be issued until a permanent law preventing drug use at events is put into effect.
