Krewella x Diskord – Beggars (Original Mix)
Krewella rose to fame on a wave of commercial bass music success, but have since revamped their sound in a more rebellious direction. Their previous single “Nowhere To Run” embraced a harder sound, creating a pop/rock anthem with electric guitar solos and belted out lyrics.
The sisters have tapped into a similar vein in their newest output, “Beggars.” Their collaboration with Diskord begins with empowered verses fused with punk-ish guitar accents. Their electronic influence reinstates itself however as the track soon drops into punchy trap section fused with drum & bass elements, likely brought on by Diskord’s involvement.
“Beggars” is indeed a far cry from the Krewella of old, leaving us curious to see what sort of direction they’ll take for their next release as they continue shaping their sound.
