Lido tweets picture of himself and Skrillex jamming in studio
Norwegian producer Lido has been prodigiously ambitious so far in 2016. He’s released a remix/mash-up of a portion of Kanye West‘s The Lifo Of Pablo, made his directorial debut with the video for his upcoming album’s first single “Crazy,” and went on to perform said album in its entirety for the first time at this year’s Coachella, where he also revealed its title, Everything. Now Lido has taken to Twitter to potentially tease a huge collaboration.
In a series of photos posted on April 22, Lido is shown hanging out with Mr. Carmack and fashion designers Bobby and Ben Hundreds, among others. Most intriguingly, however, is the picture of Lido in a studio. Behind a drum kit while in front of him, playing an orange Telecaster, is Skrillex.
The photos are captioned only as “A day in the life,” so it remains to be seen whether this was just a spontaneous jam session or a new project in the works. However, fans wouldn’t be remiss to hope that the duo did record some of their work together and that it turns into a collaborative release in the future.
