Listen to an unreleased Martin Garrix mix from 2009

Before he began taking on main stages around the world, Martin Garrix was just a normal, hardworking producer with a dream.

While most fans learned of Martin Garrix when his breakout mega-hit “Animals” took the world by storm, the first piece of material on his SoundCloud was a big room single called “Keygen.” Now, however, an unreleased mix from the Dutch superstar dating back to 2009 has been uncovered from an online forum.

The mix is quite different from Martin Garrix’s current main stage-directed sound, beginning with Carl Tricks’ remix of “Wait For Me” before later heading into deadmau5′ iconic “Ghost N Stuff,” Chuckie’s “Let The Bass Kick IN Miami Girl, and French Government’s remix of Apster & Quintino’s “Music Oh.” For fans who want to know what Garrix was listening to before he developed into the producer he is today, this mix will provide a window into one of dance music’s biggest star’s early beginnings.
