Maceo Plex to attempt to break World Record for number of DJ sets in 24 hours
The past couple years have brought along quite a few record-breaking feats from various international DJs. Thus far, we’ve seen a three year-old from South Africa win a nationally-syndicated talent shows, 151 DJs in Dubai going back-to-back with one another, and more recently a Nigerian DJ playing for 10 days straight.
Eric Estornel, better known as Maceo Plex, or formerly as Maetrik, will be attempting a brand new record in Ibiza on July 26. His mission is to record the most-ever sets in the span of 24 hours, and to do so, he’ll be performing at ten locations across the island which he said in a recent video will capture the essence of the island musically and visually. The endeavor is also a showcase of his Mosaic project, where he aims to show off different shades of his current musical affinities.
