Watch 151 DJs go back-to-back in Dubai and set a new Guiness World Record
Although back-to-back sets are a common phenomenon in dance music, not many artists can say they have participated in a back-to-back set featuring over 150 DJs in one performance. At Dubai Mall’s Ice Rink this month, World Top DJs and the UAE mall hosted the world’s longest DJ relay in a (successful) attempt to break the Guinness World Record. 151 DJs from all over the world swapped in-and-out behind the decks to put their tastemaking skills on display, resulting in the dethroning of Singapore – which previously set the record last year with 133 participants
Watch the video above as DJ Harry, DJ Julius, and DJ Don mix tracks like Hardwell and Dannic’s “Survivors,” Nicky Romero and Avicii’s “I Could Be The One,” The Weeknd’s “The Hills,” and more during the world’s current longest DJ relay.
