Martin Garrix will be touring with Justin Bieber
Justin Bieber is doubling the star power for the next leg of his Purpose tour, announcing Martin Garrix as the direct support for the Australian stretch coming up in March, 2017. The pair of young superstars are publicly very close friends, and earlier this year, they revealed they have a working collaboration underway. Now, Bieber’s longstanding manager Scooter Braun is assisting Garrix’s management as well, a partnership between the pop star and global DJ icon is an astute power move – which is manifesting in a tour between the two young artists. Martin Garrix will be featured as the opening act on all five of Bieber’s Australian dates, and by early 2017, a potential chart-topper with their names both on it could already be in heavy rotation.
As Justin continues his foray into dance music production and Garrix continues to branch away from the EDM typecast, the tour pairing seems to come at the perfect time. Dominating their respective ends of the pop spectrum, Martin Garrix and Justin Bieber are already indomitable forces as individuals . After a test run in Australia early next year, there may be another full-blown super duo on the rise.
