Listen to Skrillex’s new song, ‘Crown Vic,’ in Alexander Wang video
Last week, Kylie Jenner posted a the first video of Alexander Wang’s fall campaign to her Instagram, tantalizing Skrillex fans with a cut version of an unreleased song featuring vocals from Vic Mensa’s “No Chill.” Wang’s campaign features a four episode series of videos showing Jenner partying at a Beverly Hills mansion with a laundry list of varied celebrities including Tyga, A$AP Ferg, and of course, Skrillex himself. The ensuing videos, all shot by Director X, were set to the RL Grime songs “Core” and “King Pin (Feat. Big Sean).”
The release of the full campaign film, which recaps the series, reveals that the song teased in the first video is a Skrillex song entitled “Crown Vic”. Though the video is only a minute long, it seems that, like the commercially-commissioned track “Puppy,” this is the full version of Skrillex’s newest track, as it was created exclusively for Wang’s fall campaign. Nonetheless, “Crown Vic is available in its final version in Wang’s video above, which also serves as a “Where’s Waldo” of sorts for fans attempting to find RL Grime (hint: he appears subtly in the video’s second half).
