Originally a college party inciter with his fiery mashups and mixes, Kap Slap has since evolved his artistic project and is now putting his hand at crafting infectious, dance-pop originals and remixes. With recent remix commissions from Seven Lions and ROZES, the LA-based, Boston-bred beatsmith has been tapped by ex-Wanted member, Nathan Sykes, and rap heavyweight G-Eazy to reimagine their radio-made single, “Give It Up.” Making a slight departure from the big room style that his project originally blossomed from, Kap Slap surprises fans by unleashing a glitch-hop-inspired synth arrangement during the drop thats injects an energizing, bouncing flair to the pop-based original.
