These are Flume’s top 10 tracks of 2016
Triple J is in the midst of sourcing their annual Hot 100 list. To do so, they’ve tapped some of the foremost tastemakers in the electronic music industry — everyone from Porter Robinson to Australia’s own Flume. While Robinson’s list spanned everything from Chance The Rapper to Lido, Flume’s list highlights left-field acts like Clams Casino and Andy Stott. Beyond that, just as Porter did, he’s spotlighted Tourist’s exceptional “Run.” Streten even gives a shout to one of the ubiquitous underground anthems of the year, Bicep’s remix of Isaac Tichauer’s “Higher Level.”
Topping the list, however, Flume gives a tremendous cosign to London act Bonzai who supported him on the European leg of his Skin tour.
“This year I was lucky enough to tour through Europe with Bonzai on support. There’s something really fresh about the rhythm in this track. I cant wait to hear what she does next!”
