Bassnectar is holding a new 2-day festival in a secret location
Anyone who has been to a festival with Bassnectar on the bill knows that the artist has a dedicated cult following who will travel long distances to see one of his seismic sets. Ever a man of the people, Lorin Ashton has a history of curating his own festivals and recurrent events. From Bass Center, to Basslights, to the annual NYE 360° performance, it seems that whenever Bassnectar builds something, Bassheads will come.
Bassnectar has now announced his newest festival endeavor, to be held in Atlantic City, NJ. Dubbed “Basslantic City,” Ashton says that the event follows “smash success of our underground Basslanta event in Atlanta last September.” To be held at a currently secret location April 28-29, Bassnectar will headline the two-day event with support from frequent collaborator ill.Gates, legendary dubstep producer Caspa, bass music savant EPROM, and the more sedate Nosaj Thing. Ninth Child and The Widdler will also serve as opening acts.
Tickets for Basslantic will be available for pre-sale here, beginning Wednesday, February 15 at 12 PM Eastern Time. View the event flier below:
