Clubbers hold up ceiling after it collapses at club in Manchester, England
Clubbers in Manchester quite literally found themselves “raising the roof” when a piece of plaster fell down from the ceiling of the local venue Factory 251 during the wee hours on Sunday morning. They’d been holding up the piece of ceiling for about two minutes before the DJ and other club staff noticed and rushed to the help the crowd. No injuries were reported.
According to the club, there are no structural issues with the venue itself and “at this stage, we’re uncertain as to how or why” such a thing happened. A similar event had happened there as well around two years ago, which resulted in seven injuries the same conclusions around building’s structural integrity.
The club is set to reopen as per usual. Watch a video of the roof’s collapse above.
