The Radar 87: Mixed by VOLAC

Moscow duo VOLAC are two of the house scene’s most well-versed talents in concocting heavy, bass-throbbing cuts. Between collaborating with Destructo to releasing on major house labels like Tchami’s Confession and CUFF, the Russian pair are certainly carving their space in the darker depths of house spectrum.

For their debut on The Radar, VOLAC craft a mix heavy on the bass scrapes, thrashing basslines, and haunting synth stabs. Featuring selections from GotSome & Jaded, Vanilla Ace, Maximono, and more, this mix is aggressive for the more commercial-leaning house fans but the listeners of heavier four-on-the-floor will certainly find the mix eclectic and tasteful.
