Eminem producing satirical rap battle film, ‘Bodied’
In 2002, Eminem‘s semi-autobiographical movie 8 Mile came to the big screen.
Now, 15 years later, the rapper is once again bringing rap battles to theaters.
He’s produced a satirical rap battle film called Bodied, which is set to debut at the Toronto International Film Festival next month. Eminem teamed up with music video director Michael Kahn and former rap battle champ Alex “Kid Twist” Larsento bring the concept to life.
The cast includes Hollywood stars like Anthony Michael Hall, Debra Wilson, Charlamagne tha God, Alter Perez, Rory Uphold, Jackie Long, Callum Worthy and Shoniqua Shanda, and will also feature underground acts like Loaded Lux, Dizaster, Dumbfounded and Hollow Da Don.
