Dover police will continue to investigate the death of a 20-year-old woman who passed away on the morning of June 17. The Firefly attendee, Caroline Friedman, was found in an unresponsive state at camping lot number 18 at the Dover International Speedway at 6:30 AM.
While Friedman did receive immediate attention from the festival’s medical staff, police remain uncertain as to Friedman’s cause of death, although foul play is not a current concern. A conclusive cause of death ruling will follow after examiners move forward with both an autopsy and a toxicology report.
