Galantis teams up with MAX on new EP

Rhythmic pop and house duo Galantis have teamed up with rising singer and label mate MAX on a two-track EP via Big Beat Records.

After emerging in 2013 with a unique, thoughtfully uplifting take on progressive house, Galantis has remained part of the house music community attracting pop into its territory, bringing artists like Uffie and ROZES in on collaborative work to further blur the genre lines. This time it’s with New York City singer-songwriter MAX, famous for his track “Lights Down Low” and other electronic collaborations with artists like Flux Pavilion, 3LAU and Illenium.

The EP’s lead single, “Satisfied,” is a tune primed for summer, accentuated by MAX’s agile vocals and a classic funky, house-influenced production appearance from the Galantis guys. The track was debuted with a coordinating music video that follows the duo through the summer antics of our dreams, further hitting the single home.

“Mama Look At Me Now” follows to close out the EP, again featuring uplifting subject matter, vocals, and Galantis’s again patented piano chord and children’s vocal sample production highlights.
