Prodigy Artists, home of NGHTMRE, JOYRYDE signs newest recruit WHIPPED CREAM
Things are starting to move quickly for LA-based electronic talent WHIPPED CREAM. Born Caroline Cecil, the Canadian export has been carving out her upward trajectory as a producer over the last five years, steadily building her profile behind a trap-inspired style that captures an expressive west coast influence. Now, she’s positioned for a true breakout moment, signing on to the Prodigy Artists family as their newest recruit.
Joining the same team as some of dance music’s most in-demand artists of the moment, including JOYRYDE, SLANDER, and NGHTMRE, Prodigy’s lofty ranks and tightly knit team should prove to be a fitting home for WHIPPED CREAM as she reaches the next chapter in her career. In a statement, Prodigy Artists co-founder Will Runzel expounds on the new signing,
“The first time I saw Caroline perform, I knew I was in the presence of a generational talent. Once I heard her speak about the project I saw a long-term and unique vision that only the greats possess. She won’t fit any performer archetype on the market today and I promise you won’t see anything like her on the festival circuit this summer or any other summer.”
With new management and booking powers now driving the project, as well as a number of high profile appearances slated for the summer including Electric Zoo and HARD Summer, expect major moves from WHIPPED CREAM’s camp moving forward.
