AC Slater dishes guest laden three-peat with ‘Undefeated Champions’ EP
AC Slater doesn’t need anymore wins to be considered among the undisputed MVPs of peak hour bass house. That didn’t stop him from unleashing a three-track EP appropriately titled Undefeated Champions, arriving on the boss man’s own Night Bass Records. The grip of four-to-the-floor heaters feature all star appearances from Wax Motif, Chris Lorenzo, and Redlight.
The EP kicks off with the menacing Wax Motif collaboration “Legit,” serving up a dance floor assault as filthy as the track’s horror movie vocal samples and wailing sirens suggest. The EP veers towards classic house territory on the Lorenzo-assisted “Giant Mouse,” with vocal samples dripping with attitude – though AC Slater never lets his sub rattling bass disappear for long. Redlight arrives to wrap things up with “Ultra Hype,” featuring clanking percussion and a dark, hypnotic bass line. Listen to Undefeated Champions below.
