REZZ incites Halloween-fashioned intrigue, launches eerie website

Midway through REZZ-tober, the matriarch of all that is creepy-crawly has bestowed a mystery upon her unflinchingly loyal listeners in the form of a cryptic, Halloween-themed website.

Dubbed Nightmare On REZZ Street, the website features a number of ghoulish, REZZ-centric illustrations, along with an active countdown as its focal point, currently clocking in at just over five days before expiration (October 22). Given REZZ’s penchant for diversifying her releases–like her album-adjacent Mass Manipulation comic book–there will likely be a visual element to whatever frightful fun she has in store this season.

The “Hex” producer took to Twitter this past August (because it’s never too early to gear up for a good spook) to announce that the specially tailored project will be free and easily accessible for all. While she by no means elaborated on the nature of the impending release, she confirmed there is reason for fans to expect much more than a mere single-track undertaking. She also announced today that the identity of the project will be unveiled by tomorrow.

REZZ has been relentlessly satiating her band of self-proclaimed “cult” followers, releasing at least an album and/or EP a year since 2016, via her highly decorated mau5trap label housing. Her latest, Certain Kind of Magicfeatured a wealth of new faces, including 1788-L, Deathpact, and Kotek, all of whom have been encircling the blogosphere since the album’s auspicious release.
