Anderson .Paak discusses the ‘Oxnard’ LP, Dr. Dre, Mac Miller, and Chance The Rapper in a new interview off the Angie Martinez Show

Anderson .Paak dropped by the Angie Martinez Show to talk about his upcoming album, Oxnard. He listed a slew of superstars set for collaborations off his sophomore album including Dr. Dre , who produced the album, along with Snoop Dogg, Kendrick LamarPusha T, J. Cole, and Q-Tip. Paak had teased the LP with the KDOT-assisted lead single, “Tints” earlier in October.

Throughout the interview, Brandon Paak Anderson shared his perspective on voting, his collaboration with J. Cole, studio atmospheres, his previous profession as a marijuana farmer, and his relationship with Mac Miller adresssing buzzing questions toward the end of the dialogue around a Chance The Rapper collaboration. He confirmed Chano would not be on the album, but did advise they have a bunch of stuff in the works. Having come together before on “Blessings” off Chance’s Grammy-winning Coloring Book, fans of both are urging these funky, soulful, hip-hop artists to pair up yet again

Oxnard comes out November 16.
