DUCKY lets listeners in with ‘DAY ZERO,’ lead single from newly announced EP
DUCKY lets her personal life play front and center in new single “DAY ZERO,” which will be a part of her forthcoming, newly announced I STILL BELIEVE IN LOVE EP. The track is the first to be released from the upcoming project, which will be out in full, fittingly, on February 14.
It’s clear how personal releasing this new EP is to the producer, who has been increasingly open on social media about her previous experiences, and how they have led her to where she is today. “DAY ZERO” lets heavily synthesized vocals tell the story of a painful breakup, with dark rumbling chords propelling the track forwards amidst a mixture of chaotic, complex synth lines. Given the EP is out in full only a few weeks from “DAY ZERO’s” release, DUCKY could be ready to showcase more before the project lands in its entirety.
