Gareth Emery and Ashley Wallbridge release second single off of forthcoming album
Gareth Emery and Ashley Wallbridge have released just exposed “Lionheart” to the world following an early winter announcement that they’d be releasing a new album together, Kingdom United. The track marks the second release off of the LP, with vocalist PollyAnna playing a cornerstone role in its emotive value. Their first release was the album’s title song, “Kingdom United,” and “Lionheart” similarly features soaring elements and cinematic production that the two acts have become known for.
The vocal line is polarizing, and keeps the listener hooked as the dancing trance synths create euphoric peaks around PollyAnna’s soulful notes. The high energy piece is the perfect middle ground between radio friendly and live performance worthy, and Emery and Wallbridge prove that their forthcoming album is a compilation to look forward to if “Lionheart” is indicative of what listeners should expect from the duo.
