Kaskade delivers the third installment in his celebrated ‘Redux’ series, ‘Redux 003’

Kaskade‘s Redux compilation family is now a trilogy, thanks to the long-awaited arrival of the third installment in the EP series, Redux 003. Redux 003 represents Kaskade’s fullest release under the Redux umbrella: Whereas Redux 002 and its predecessor touted seven and five songs respectively, Redux 003 features 18 cuts, rendering the EP no short sonic jaunt. Kaskade’s familiar cast of collaborators, LöKii, Late Night Alumni, and Mr. Tape reappear on the EP, alongside fellow artistic assistants, Madge, Sego, Rose Adam, Sara Diamond, and more.

Redux 003 pairs prior Kaskade releases “On Your Mind,” “Tight,” “Fun,” and recent Gorgon City joint project, “Go Slow,” with a slew of never-before-heard inclusions. Kaskade exudes creativity on a rework of Suzanne Vega and DNA’s 1987 classic, “Tom’s Diner,” re-branded on Redux 003 as “The Diner.” Another EP highlight rests in Kaskade’s Sun Soaked Mix of “I Feel You.”

Kaskade has proven himself adept at seamlessly navigating sub-genres with ease, and Redux 003 is no exception. The production traverses deep house, tech house, pop, the emotive, electronic ballads signature to Kaskade’s style, and club-friendly bass showings. Redux 003 is evident of what Kaskade listeners have long known: The producer is one of the most dynamic dance entities currently active in the scene.
