Madeon ushers in ‘Good Faith Era’ with new single, ‘All My Friends’
It has been four years since Madeon‘s critically lauded debut LP, Adventure. The record officially introduced Hugo Leclercq’s capabilities to the world after years of successful profile-building releases, most notably 2012’s The City. Since then, the French wunderkind has cemented his legacy as one of dance music’s brightest torch carriers. Though now, Madeon is far from the youngest beatmaker in the game, but he’s finally circling back to reassert his production prowess with the launch of his “Good Faith Era”—a new creative direction that’s commencing with a plucky new dance cut titled, “All My Friends.”
The new single comes at a pivotal moment for Madeon. “All My Friends” comes a day after Madeon’s 25th birthday, and just two months ahead of his hotly anticipated Lollapalooza live show. Roping in a mid-tempo disco-inspired pop vibe, that features Leclercq himself on the vocals, “All My Friends,” lands as Madeon’s first new product since 2016’s beloved “Shelter” alongside Porter Robinson.
