Idris Elba launches 2-HR SET clothing line worldwide
Rhetorical question: Is there anything Idris Elba can’t do? The venerable actor evinced his versatility when he slowly but surely began to infiltrate the electronic scene with standout original releases like “L.U.V.” and the comparatively more recent “Ballie.” No longer a fledgling disc-jockey, the seasoned producer has used his own sonic experience as inspiration for his next creative endeavor: 2-HR SET.
Elba’s first foray into fashion design, the unisex clothing line launched in the UK in 2018 and swiftly sold out of its stock following its debut. 2-HR SET pieces are now available worldwide, as Elba expands the commercial access of his newly minted brand.
2-HR SET’s latest collection features an array of options, including hoodies, T-shirts, sweatpants, hats, and rubber slides. Although the line is Elba’s first-ever independent line, it’s not his sole project in the fashion industry. Elba is currently also collaborating with Fatboy Slim on a political line of pieces. Proceeds from the sale of this particular collection will benefit Faz Amnesty, Faron Paul’s campaign dedicated to the prevention of knife and gun violence.
