Dabin revitalizes his sophomore LP, ‘Wild Youth,’ with eclectic 17-track remix pack

Earlier this year, Toronto native and self-proclaimed “sadboi,” Dabin, unveiled his second full-length album with Wild Youth. The project only aided in Dabin’s acceleration as one of the scene’s most earnestly emerging talents. He then promptly embarked on a close-to-sold-out headlining trek, showcasing the project to newfound audiences throughout North America. Nearly five months succeeding the album’s release date, Dabin is formally reinvigorating his sophomore album with the release of a staggering 17-track remix care package.

While Wild Youth in its original form is already a more-than-adequate, imaginative effort, Dabin shows no reluctance in enlisting a lengthy serving of artists, with quality to boot, to breathe a newfound lifeblood into his most recent opus of efforts. Featuring the likes of Trivecta, Ray Volpe, Crystal Skies, MitiS, and Anki among a profusion of other notable producers, Dabin’s remix album provides a refined contribution for followers from any corner of dance music’s sprawling continuum.

The remix album arrives in tandem with two momentous points for Dabin during his 2019 campaign. To conclude the summer season this past Labor Day Weekend, Dabin appeared upon Seven Lions’ stage roster at Electric Zoo Festival for a weekend-topping performance and was just recently revealed to be joining Illenium during his forthcoming Ascend tour, which includes a stop later this September at Madison Square Garden.
