Chris Lake and Solardo fashion next house hit, ‘Free Your Body’
Everyone knows Chris Lake as a producer for the stars, house music veteran, and now label boss through the growing Black Book Records. It’s there that he released his latest work, a spry piece with Solardo titled “Free Your Body.” The track is what one might expect from such a name; wobbly low-end elements and a playful topline come together in a flow state, loosening feet on the dancefloor. When combined with intense builds and hypnotic vocals, “Free Your Body” becomes an instant hit.
Both collaborators have had a busy year. Not only has Chris Lake been cranking out a large collection of new music, but he’s also upped his global touring. He paired with Fisher recently for a foray into event organization via Not Another FKN Festival. Meanwhile, Solardo have likewise been hard at work building their own imprint, Sola, and releasing a slew of singles on Ultra. They were also tapped by Diplo to remix him for Higher Ground.
