Cloonee’s long-awaited ID ‘To The Beat’ comes to Black Book Records

Following a near two-year hiatus from Black Book Records, Cloonee has returned with one of his most requested IDs, “To The Beat” with Dances. First debuted at the heavily attended back-to-back at Coachella between Chris Lake and FISHER, “To The Beat” exhibits a sultry and addictive vocal from Dances. Initially debutted “My Hoes,” the track has been tweaked to perfection after receiving live plays from Dom Dolla, Diplo, John Summit, and of course Cloonee. Also making their own return to Black Book Records, Dances was a part of the label’s first-ever release with “Operator” back in 2016.

“To The Beat” is far more than just the vocal, as Cloonee has precisely layered his inescapable kick drums and steady pulses for a groovy dancefloor mover. Cloonee continues to build upon the success of his own Hellbent Records label imprint, after first receiving notoriety from his releases on Michael Bibi and PAWSA‘s Solid Grooves label. Mastering his very own take on minimal and Latin tech house, the Los Angeles based tastemaker has grown into his talent with a multitude of worldwide bookings. With upcoming dates in Mexico, England, Italy, and a Hellbent label headline show during Miami Music Week, Cloonee will be testing out his new record to the masses. Stream “To The Beat” below.
