Pioneer DJ debuts new all-in-one system, the XDJ-XZ

All-in-one is the name of Pioneer DJ’s game as the audio hardware manufacturer prepares to go to market with its functionally all-encompassing new model, the XDJ-XZ. The model is outfitted with a three-band EQ on its master channel, four channels, and the 6 Color FX and 14 Beat FX, derived from Pioneer’s DJM900nxs2 mixer.

Additional new features include full-size jog wheels, as seen on the CDJ2000nxs2, and on-jog screens, derived from Pioneer’s DDJ range. DJs can link different Pioneer units with the XDJ-XZ’s Link Export capability, which allows for cross device action.

A seven-inch touchscreen displays cue points, waveforms, and song info. Eight performance pads per channel that service cue, loop trigger, sample, and stutter FX, in addition to a microphone feedback reducer round out the XDJ-XZ’s trappings. Users can look forward to the impending arrival of Serato DJ Pro support for the system in early 2020.

The XDJ-XZ is currently available for purchase and retails for a cool $2,090.
