Kraftwerk tops All Points East lineup followed by Iggy Pop, Chromatics, and more
London’s All Points East festival is laying its claim to the circuit rather early this time around by announcing its lineup almost six months before the event which set to take place on May 29, 2020. Moreover, this announcement is already putting pressure on fellow summer UK festivals with an impressive roster, topped by none other than a 3D set from Kraftwerk.
Beyond the krautrock pioneers, 2020’s All Points East lineup features a wide variety of sounds provided some of those sound’s most prevalent purveyors. Representing the rock family tree are Iggy Pop, Johnny Marr, and Sonic Youth’s Kim Gordan among others. Turntable maestro Grandmaster Flash is leading the hip-hop charge while alternative acts like Chromatics and The Orb satisfy the less conventional listener.
