After wrapping up a brief North American tour with Sub Focus and 1991 a few weeks ago, Dimension and Culture Shock continue to thrill with the release of a joint effort, “Love To Give,” with vocalist Billy Lockett. This gorgeous drum ‘n’ bass song beautifully combines the artists’ styles and meshes them with powerful vocals from Lockett. It’s an emotional journey.
Last Island returns to remix Midnight Kids‘ “Run It,” putting a bouncy spin on the Annika Wells-featured tune. The Scottish artist incorporates wavy synthwork to give the song a lighthearted atmosphere, and the addition of an unexpected saxophone interlude toward the end adds a little extra flavor.
AMTRAC‘s highly anticipated Oddyssey finally has a release date: April 3. Leading up to the LP’s release, the artist continues to trickle out singles, including the latest: a collaboration with Alex Metric called “So Afraid.” The song has a decidedly brighter tone to it than its predecessor, “Teenage Love” and is irresistibly catchy.
Canadian artist Inukshuk has tapped Blonde Maze for his new single, “My Heart Would Drop.” The song is drips with emotion from its introductory chords, and Blonde Maze’s vocals only add to the power the tune immediately holds over the listener. It’s one of his finest works to date.
MOONZz‘s new album, Modern Ritual, hit the airwaves on March 6 via Big Noise Music Group, featuring seven songs that showcase the breadth of the singer-songwriter’s abilities. MOONZz shines on this pop-leaning LP, with songs like “Modern Ritual” bringing an air of mystery and intrigue to the collection of songs.
