Yellow Claw drop stunning remix of The Weeknd’s ‘Blinding Lights’
Jim Taihuttu and Nils Rondhuis, better known together as Dutch DJ duo Yellow Claw, had a crack at a brand new “Blinding Lights” remix, the inescapable Billboard chart-topper from The Weeknd. Unsurprisingly, Yellow Claw have something special on their hands. Whereas the Major Lazer edit falls on a groovy soca beat, Yellow Claw’s rendition utilizes the space of a track for a more celestial future-bass feel anchored to a harder trap backbone.
The remix employs a larger-than-life ethos, leaving key spaces for both a strong intro and euphoric outro. There’s a special touch to this edit that can closely evokes the feeling of holding a loved one as fireworks paint the night sky.
