Will Ferrell now has a Billboard-charting song

Will Ferrell‘s accolades now include “Billboard charting artist.” Yes, you read that correctly. Nielsen Music/MRC Data chart statistics show that Ferrell and My Marianne’s “Husavik – My Hometown,” from Netflix film, Eurovison Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga, debuted at No. 16 on the Digital Song Sales chart dated July 11. The movie inclusion also amassed 8,000 downloads in the United States in the week ending July 2.

The Eurovison Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga soundtrack’s chart performance isn’t too shabby, either. The production entered the Soundtracks chart at No. 5. It also clocked in at No. 170 on the Billboard 200 with 7,000 equivalent album units. The news of Ferrell’s first-ever Billboard-charting sonic effort follows Tiësto‘s “Euro 90s Tribute Remix” of the film’s “Double Trouble.”
