Rebūke shares ‘Dominator’ remix pack following Essential Mix

What a week it’s been for Irish underground producer Rebūke. The up-and-coming DJ made his BBC Essential Mix debut the weekend of August 22 with, a powerful, two-hour techno mix loaded with everything from his hit track, “Along Came Polly,” a couple classics from Green Velvet, and dozens of underground artists, ending on Stretch & Vern’s Thom Yorke edit.

Additionally, Rebūke mixed in one of his latest remixes of Human Resource’s rave classic, “Dominator.” On his first “Dominator” remix, Rebūke swaps out the original’s breakbeats for a more modern deep tech house beat, complemented by his trademark warbling lead percussive elements. On the “Rave Remix,” Rebūke goes a step deeper, ramping up the space age tech elements and cranking up the reverb to simulate an underground rave setting.

On top of his hot week, Rebūke has already announced more tunes dropping soon. On September 4, his forthcoming Drumcode EP, Obscurity, is scheduled for release. Obscurity will be Rebūke’s second Drumcode EP, following 2019’s Rattle.
