Stream Rave the Vote sets from Walker & Royce, Kaleena Zanders, Christian Martin, and more

With the November election rapidly approaching, creatives in the dance music industry have deployed efforts to entice those eligible to exercise their right to vote, notably through the launch of the Rave the Vote campaign. Aimed at mobilizing voter registration and turnout, the four-part digital festival concluded its second round of performances on August 14, following its inaugural event on July 24. Two more installments will take place on September 11 and October 2.

Scene aficionados ranging from Inner City, Kaleena Zanders, and Walker & Royce to Justin Martin, Ardalan, and Christian Martin participated in the initiative. In interviews with Billboard, artists also shared their two cents on the political importance and urgency of heading to the polls on November 3. Dirtybird staple Ardalan—amongst several others—expressed his confidence in the power of the people to influence lawmakers, stating, “now more than ever, the importance of voting is pivotal for the future of the dance scene and the country.”
