Habstrakt is heating up as summer steps into the limelight and has brought his newest original “The Sound” over to the home of Deadbeats. Marking the French mastermind’s debut Deadbeats outing, the action-packed track directly succeeds his April 16 effort, “Ice Cold,” with Dancing Astronaut‘s June Supernova, KARRA.

Habstrakt categorized the high-octane, Gesaffelstein-like cut as one of the most aggressive and darkest productions that he’s done to date. “The Sound” now joins the three projects that stand in Habstrakt’s 2021 rearview: “Ice Cold,” Gotta Be (Remixes), and his remix of Nitepunk‘s “Flow,” further stocking his arsenal of originals awaiting live deployment in the months to come.
