Nitti Gritti is giving listeners a lot to work with, thanks to his latest EP, The Loud / Losing Count. Teaming up with Blunts & Blondes for the project-opener, “The Loud,” Nitti and company draw on reggae influences. Shifting gears to go solo on “Losing Count,” the SIDEPIECE constituent channels a small piece of summer with a light melody juxtaposed with a heavy drop. Needless to say, The Loud / Losing Count gives Nitti Gritti two festival-fit cuts for forthcoming live performances, and fans hopefully won’t have to wait long to catch either of them live.
