Chris Lorenzo shells out bass-house rework of Skrillex and J Balvin’s ‘In Da Getto’
With Skrillex returning to the airwaves with a spell of long-awaited original cuts this year, the dance music deity has now enlisted a remix series for his and J Balvin‘s collaborative effort, “In Da Getto,” including one from contemporary house royalty, Chris Lorenzo.
Lorenzo has had an incredibly hearty 2021, churning out one house heater after the next, including his summer anthem “California Dreamin’,” “Fly With Us” alongside AC Slater, as well as all new music from his and Chris Lake‘s Anti Up project. His latest remix is no exception, doling out a percussive house build, reeling in the listener with layered synth work and rattling bass while maintaining J Balvin’s fluid Latin imprint.
