Zeds Dead, Subtronics get ‘Gassed Up’ on third all-time collaboration

Zeds Dead and Subtronics are returning with their third collaboration, “Gassed Up” with Flowdan. Following their 2020 remix of Atmosphere’s “God Loves Ugly” and 2019’s “Bumpy Teeth,” Zeds Dead and Subtronics’ latest team up is one of their most highly anticipated productions.

The track arrives ahead of Subtronics’ upcoming debut studio album, Fractals, which was fronted by “Spacetime” and will also include “Gassed Up.” In a statement, Subtronics said,

“‘Gassed Up’ with Zeds Dead and Flowdan is one of my favorite songs on the album. I am a massive, massive fan of Flowdan and am beyond honored to have him on the track. The UK-inspired grime sections leading into emotionally impactful walls of sound just, ugh, I love this tune and stand by it with my entire soul.”

Zeds Dead first premiered the track at their annual Deadrocks event in July of 2020, mixing the song with Bassment Jaxx‘s “Where’s Your Head At.” Hooks and DC of Zeds Dead added,

“This is our third time collaborating with the homie Subtronics and each time has been such an awesome experience. Been road testing this one since the summer and it took a bit to dial in the vocal but when we connected with the legendary Flowdan we knew we had it!”
