In a string of firsts for 17-year-old wunderkind, Dancing Astronaut‘s Breakout Artist of 2020, Moore Kismet, has shared their inaugural music video. The visual newly accompanies “Parallel Heartbreak,” released via Thrive Music as the fifth single from Kismet’s forthcoming debut album, UNIVERSE. Featuring one of our Artists To Watch in 2022, Pauline Herr, and co-written by Tate McRae, “Parallel Heartbreak” showcases the depths of love in a video starring Kismet. Voyaging through heartache and fond memories, “Parallel Heartbreak” fuses immersive visual effects with evocative motifs. Says Kismet of the video,

“I wanted to tell the story of two fictional characters within this universe that I’ve created in my head. They have feelings for each other, but it seems that everything is keeping them from being together. They’re afraid to show the other how much they love them at the risk of jeopardizing their existing friendship. Making this video with my team was a blast. This was one of the most beautiful and affirming experiences I’ve ever had in my life. I can’t wait to make more and continue to express all sides of my creativity.”
