Premiere: Robin Schulz takes beat-driven approach on remix of Sorana, David Guetta’s ‘redruM’
Nearly one month after Sorana and David Guetta directed “redruM” to digital streaming platforms, Robin Schulz can be found sitting in the re-imaginative driver’s seat, pumping the gas pedal. Schulz’s beat-driven take on Sorana and Guetta’s pop-centric original maintains the easy-listening appeal present on “redruM” but picks up the pace just slightly. Well-positioned for an embrace by radio airwaves, Schulz’s remix of “redruM” is his second consecutive official rework of February; on February 11, the German producer lent his touch to Tiësto and Ava Max‘s “The Motto.”
“Robin Schulz is one of my favorite DJs and I’m so grateful that he took interest in my song and made this banging remix,” Sorana said in a statement.
The Robin Schulz remix of “redruM” will formally release on February 17, and upon doing so, will mark the second commissioned “redruM” recasting. MistaJam was the first to take on the Sorana and Guetta team up, which landed the first week of February.
