Kill The Noise snaps seven-year album gap with sophomore LP, ‘EMBRACE’ via Ophelia Records

After a seven year gap between albums, Kill The Noise heads to Dancing Astronaut’s 2021 Label of the Year, Ophelia Records, with his sophomore album EMBRACE. Following up on 2015’s OWSLA-signed Occult Classic, 11 songs comprise this new project, together proving yet again that Kill The Noise is not defined by one single sound or genre. Spanning the low-end gamut from drum ‘n’ bass to dubstep, complete with well-timed pockets of melodic dance and riddim, the LP carries an impressive variety while also binding each track together with a well-produced thematic tie. Collaborators such as Seven Lions, Mija, Wolfgang Gartner, and Julia Ross also grace the LP’s tracklist, each adding their own distinguished flairs across the project.

The album’s title track ends the journey on a lighter note, bringing cinematic, ethereal sonics to the fold for the LP’s outro. A trained ear will be able to identify Kill The Noise’s long, rich musical history, with veteran skill that makes him capable of producing heavy hitters that are also also classically sound masterworks. It may be early to say, but for now it looks like Kill The Noise has put up a contender for album of the year with an enjoyable new project that’s worth repeated rinses.

Kill The Noise is also embarking on a 27-stop album tour to promote the new album, stretching through the spring and into mid-summer. Fans can purchase tour tickets here.
