PYN breathes life into concept-driven ‘Beat Drama’ project with ‘Desire’
The “Beat Drama” begins with “Desire,” a heady cocktail of synth-pop and ‘80s sound alluringly tied together with a topline from Netherlands-based singer-songwriter-producer PYN. In the months to come, PYN’s latest concept-driven project, Beat Drama, will unfold with singles, EP, remixes, and albums. All to be filed under the Beat Drama umbrella, the barrage of sonic content will separately and collectively reflect Beat Drama’s creative bent: in PYN’s own words, “the thin line in life between dancing and crying.”
“The intensity, the energy, the sadness, the uncertainty: All the different layers of love are reflected in the songs—and eventually, on the dance floor,” PYN said, adding that a “cohesive message will encircle Beat Drama,” down to the audiovisual material’s color schemes.
